We expanded the KWZI range with 30 standard inks. Nicely saturated inks and safe for every fountain pen. 

I introduced Field Notes memobooks in the Sakura FP Gallery. It just seemed fun to have these little US made notebooks in Belgium. They owe their existence to a tradition of promotional memo books distributed to American farmers over the last hundred years by seed, tractor and agriculture companies. Todays “Field Notes” are everyday companions and they fit in a tuxedo, a greasy leather jacket, ski or even your jungle outfit !

Kama-nuri is a technique developed by the Danitrio artisans. It is a technique which finds some similarity in the Kamakura-bori and Cho-shitsu techniques. 

The Graf von Faber-Castell “Pen of the Year” Edition has carved out a special position for itself amongst connoisseurs of fine writing culture. The design is inspired by epoch-making works and personalities. After Catherine the Great with “Catherine Palace, St. Petersburg” and Frederick the Great with “Sanssouci, Potsdam”, the trilogy is now complete with “2016 - Empress Maria Theresa with “Schloß Schönbrunn, Vienna”. The fates of these three extraordinary ruling figures were very closely linked.

The special gold-plated edition is limited to 120 fountain pens and 50 rollerball pens. The platinum-plated fountain pen is limited to 500 units, the rollerball pen to 150.
